Wake Forest running backs coach John Hunter has been communicating with Clark for a while now, so it wasn't a surprise he jumped on the recent offer extended by the Demon Deacons.
The three-star visited for a game back in October for Wake Forest's 21-17 win over Pitt, so he was more than family with the coaches, program, campus, and atmosphere.
"I was looking for a school that has strong academics and athletics," Clark said of his commitment ."I built a relationship with Coach Hunter over the summer and was really impressed with the coaches, the program, and the facilities."
"Coach Hunter is a very loving and welcoming person, but he's also straightforward as well. He's not going to sugarcoat anything to you, but he also makes sure to look after you as well and that's what I like about him."
Clark has an official visit set with Wake Forest the weekend of December 1st.
During his senior season, Clark rushed for 1805 yards on 209 carries with 31 touchdowns. He also had 18 catches for 271 yards and one score.
