I am really thrilled that this class of seniors (and redshirt seniors) stuck it out and will be rewarded with a bowl game. I also love seeing that just getting to a bowl is not enough for them and that they want to have a winning season.
Welp, they'll get an opportunity to seal the deal on Saturday against BC. The Eagles somehow have won 5 games this year... am I the only one who's shocked by this? I mean I guess I shouldn't be considering their wins are against UMass, Wagner, Buffalo, UConn, and NC State (how???). But still, I feel like this may be the worst 5-win team in the nation.
I'm glad that Wolford is back in at QB... he's certainly not the long-term answer for us, but he's enough of a game manager that he can win against a team the caliber of BC. Kearns flashed some good stuff against Clemson, in tough weather conditions, but he also missed a TON of reads and we're probably lucky it didn't get more out of hand.
By this point in the season I feel like we've got a pretty good handle on player usage, rotations, etc. Most of y'all know how I feel about the offensive play calling, starting Henderson over Bassey, and the lack of trick plays/misdirection in our gameplan. The only thing left for me to say is: "PUT CHUCK WADE IN THE DAMN GAME."
