Wake Forest is monitoring 2018 The Masters Academy (Orlando, Fla) PG Jose Placer, according to the director of the CP25 AAU program.
The Deacs saw Placer when they were in Orlando recently to watch 2017 Wake signee Chaundee Brown. Placer had 20 points and 11 assists in that game.
Placer has changed AAU programs and may fly under the radar because his new program will play on the Adidas Gauntlet Silver circuit instead of Gold.
