DEACS OPEN DECEMBER BY HOSTING RICHMOND
• Wake Forest concludes a three-game homestand at the LJVM Coliseum by hosting Richmond • The Deacs are looking for their third straight win to even their record at 4-4
• The 10th consecutive year of this matchup makes it Wake Forest’s longest annual non-conference series since playing Virginia Tech 18 consecutive years (1961-78)

SERIES HISTORY
• Wake Forest leads 41-13 (WF leads 19-4 at home, 11-2 at LJVM Coliseum)
• It is the 10th straight season and 17th time in the past 18 years the teams have met
• The road team has won the last three games in the series
• Last season, the Deacs won 75-67 at Richmond, despite shooting a season-low 16.7 percent (4-24) from 3-point range
• The Spiders won the last meeting in Winston-Salem, 91-82, in 2015-16
• Today’s game marks the first time since 1986-87 that both teams enter the meeting below .500 on the season

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest downed Illinois 80-73 Wednesday in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, handing the Illini their first defeat of the season
• It was the Deacs’ 12th all-time win in the Challenge, T-2nd most (with Virginia, behind Duke: 17)
Bryant Crawford led the team with 20 points, his 18th career 20-point game
• The Demon Deacons had their second consecutive 50-40-75 game (50 percent from the floor, 40 percent from 3-point range, 75 percent from the line)

DORAL’s SWEET 16
• Junior center Doral Moore set a school record for consecutive made field goals by making 16 straight shots from the field from Nov. 18 to Nov. 28
• Moore shot 3-3 vs. Quinnipiac, 2-2 vs. Houston, 6-6 vs. UNCG before making his first five attempts vs. Illinois
• The streak broke the previous school record of 13 consecutive made FGs set by Anthony Teachey in 1983-84 and matched by Kyle Visser in 2006-07
• It is the longest streak by an ACC player since North Carolina’s Brice Johnson made 16 consecutive FGs during the 2015-16 season
• The streak ended four shy of the ACC record of 20 consecutive FG makes by Duke’s Alaa Abdelnaby in 1988-89

UP NEXT
• The Deacs will play their first true road game of the season Tuesday with a visit to Charlotte
• It will be Wake Forest’s first visit to the 49ers’ on-campus Halton Arena as a 2007-08 trip to Charlotte was played downtown at Charlotte Bobcats Arena (now Spectrum Center)
• Wake Forest downed Charlotte 91-74 last season at LJVM Coliseum
• The game will feature the homecoming for two Demon Deacons who previously were members of the 49er program, Keyshawn Woods and Terrence Thompson
