Thoughts:
- 5 players from Chambers HS might seem like a lot, especially if that name is unfamiliar. But that's the renamed Vance High School -- one of the top programs in the Charlotte/Mecklenburg area.
- Of the 13 players from '22 class, 11 are committed to the Deacons. The two who aren't are Whicker and Reeder. The only member of the 12 commits from that class who isn't expected in Winston-Salem this weekend is OL Derrell Johnson.
- Trooper Price is a fantastic name for a linebacker.
- Dutch Fork is one of the best programs (if not, the best) in South Carolina; it's where Matt Colburn II came from. Would be cool for Wake Forest to get another running back from there.
