• Wake Forest returns to ACC action this weekend, traveling to Duke for a three-game series to be played at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest continued its offensive tear, putting up 18 more runs in a Tuesday victory over High Point.
Ben Breazeale smashed a trio of home runs, finishing 5-for-5 with seven RBIs, including his second-career grand slam.
• He became the second Deacon this year to hit three longballs in a game, joining Gavin Sheets, marking the first time in program history two players have notched a three-homer game in the same season.
• Sheets and Johnny Aiello also went deep in the Wake Forest victory.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Following the season-opening trip to Houston, the Deacs were hitting just .194 as a team and had only three players hitting better than .215. In the 14 games since, Wake Forest is hitting .361 as a team, with 71 extra-base hits.
• That surge has increased the team average to .329, while Wake Forest is tied for the national lead in home runs, also ranking in the top 10 in hits, runs, doubles, walks, slugging and average. Six starters are hitting above .335, while Gavin Sheets currently leads the nation with 32 RBIs.
Griffin Roberts has emerged as the closer for the Demon Deacons. In eight appearances, he has a 1-0 record with a 0.61 ERA and a save, striking out 23 batters in 14.2 innings while allowing opposing hitters to hit just .154 against him.

• Wake Forest leads the all-time series against the Blue Devils, 104-56.
• The Demon Deacons beat Duke in three out of the four meetings last year, winning a three-game series and winning the opening-round meeting in the ACC Championship.
• Duke has a 10-9 overall record in 2017, including a series victory over Virginia Tech to open ACC play. Jimmy Herron leads the Blue Devils with a .361 average, three home runs and nine stolen bases.
