• Wake Forest’s bats came to life in a 15-8 victory over area rival UNCG. Wake Forest tallied 18 hits on the day, including a 5-for-5 effort with a double, home run and five RBIs from senior Jonathan Pryor.
• Stuart Fairchild also homered and had two hits, while Logan Harvey, Ben Breazeale, Johnny Aiello and Jake Mueller pitched in with multi-hit efforts as well.

Draftees Parker Dunshee (Cubs - 14th round) and Chris Farish (Indians - 31st round) elected to return to Wake Forest for the 2017 season. Dunshee, as well as outfielder Stuart Fairchild, earned Preseason All-America honors.
• Thanks to his complete game, one-hit shutout on Feb. 17, Connor Johnstone was named the ACC Pitcher of the Week.
