DEACS HOST LIBERTY SEARCHING FOR FIRST WIN
• Wake Forest looks for its first win of the season as it concludes a two-game homestand against Liberty at the LJVM Coliseum
• The Demon Deacons, who dropped the season-opener to Georgia Southern, 85-83, are looking to avoid their first 0-2 start to a season since 1979-80
• Liberty is coming off a 87-42 victory over Division III Clarks Summit in its season opener

SERIES HISTORY
• Wake Forest won the only previous meeting between the schools, 81-47, at the LJVM Coliseum in 1997-98
• The teams could meet again later in the week as both are in the field of the Paradise Jam, which is now being held at Liberty due to the hurricane damage in the U.S. Virgin Islands

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest suffered a season-opening 85-83 loss to Georgia Southern on Friday night
• It was the Deacs’ first loss in a season opener since 2010-11

BROWN SHINES IN DEBUT
• Freshman Chaundee Brown had 21 points and nine rebounds against Georgia Southern in his first collegiate game
• It was the first 20-point game by a Demon Deacon freshman in his collegiate debut since J.T. Terrell scored 26 points vs. Stetson in the 2010-11 season opener

UP NEXT
• Wake Forest will travel to Lynchburg, Va. for the Paradise Jam
• The tournament, originally scheduled to be played on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, was moved due damage sustained on the islands from Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria
• Wake Forest will play Drake in the first round of the tournament on Friday, the first-ever meeting between the schools
• The Deacs will play either Colorado or Quinnipiac on Saturday before concluding the tournament on Sunday against either Drexel, Houston, Liberty or Mercer
• All games of the tournament will be streamed on FloHoops.com
