My name is Mike Singer, and I am starting as the DeaconsIllustrated.com publisher today. I am super excited about taking over as the publisher of this great website.
I cover multiple schools on the Rivals.com network, including Louisville, Mississippi State, and USC. Covering schools across the country gives me a great national perspective on recruits. It will only benefit the readers here.
Les' work here has been awesome, and he will be missed, but I think you guys will appreciate my coverage of Wake Forest.
Rivals hired me to run this site because I specialize in football recruiting. So you can expect a great deal of football recruiting coverage.
I am based out of Clearwater, Florida, so I will not be able to be able to head to north to cover events at Wake. I am saying that up front, but that does not mean that I won't be able to cover the team. I will write stories from press conferences that are online and post the press releases from Wake.
I am also very open to any suggestions as far as content go. Please give me suggestions. I want to know what you guys want to read about. Like I said, football recruiting will be my main focus, but I will dabble in basketball recruiting as well and will write various team articles as well.
