DEACS HOST VIRGINIA TO OPEN TOP-5 HOMESTAND
• Wake Forest hosts No. 2 Virginia, the first of consecutive home games against top-five opponents (No. 5 Duke on Tuesday)
• It marks the first time since 2014-15 that the Demon Deacons will play consecutive games against top-five teams (No. 5 Louisville and No. 2 Duke)
• The Deacons are looking for their first highest-ranked win since an 80-65 victory over No. 2 Miami at the LJVM Coliseum on Feb. 23, 2013
• Wake Forest is looking to snap a season-long four-game losing streak and record its first ranked win of the season

SERIES HISTORY
• Wake Forest leads 70-65 (Wake leads 42-18 at home, 18-5 at LJVM Coliseum)
• The Cavaliers have won the last five meetings, their longest streak in the series since the late 1980s
• The Deacs have lost five straight games against ranked Virginia teams, dating back to 2011-12, but two of those contests were one-point losses (61-60 at No. 2 Virginia in 2014-15 and 72-71 vs. No. 11 Virginia in 2015-16)

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest suffered a 72-63 loss at NC State on Thursday night
• The Deacs led 63-61 with four minutes left before the Wolfpack ended the game on a 11-0 run

DEACS FROM DEEP
• Wake Forest ranks third in the ACC in 3-point percentage at 39.1
• Last year the Deacs shot 38.5 percent as they made a school-record 268 triples
• In ACC play, Wake Forest is second in the conference at 39.6 percent from 3-point range, making 9.2 triples per game
• The Deacs have made at least nine 3-pointers in five of six ACC games this season
• Seven different Deacs have made multiple 3-pointers in a game this season (only six Deacs accomplished the feat last season)
