Just a quick update on a few things:
- The coaching staff is out tonight seeing high school games, mostly those of players among the 12 who have already committed to Wake Forest.
- As pictured here, Dave Clawson was at Davie County's game on Monday night to see running back Tate Carney (brother of Cade).
- Wesley Grimes tweeted last night that he's been offered by Notre Dame. Before you get too worried: This sort of thing is going to happen when A) Wake Forest further cements its status as one of the better programs at identifying talent and B) Grimes is having the season he's having; per MaxPreps, he's got 45 catches for 890 yards and 15 touchdowns ... in 7 games.
I've heard Wake Forest isn't all that concerned about losing Grimes -- at least, for now. That can change with us still being about two months away from Signing Day, but that's the feeling at this point.
