Coach Steve Forbes said Reid is typically OK after a day or two of suffering from a migraine, which is why he didn't play after about six minutes on Tuesday night. Still, Reid will be worth keeping an eye on -- both from a health perspective and to see if the Deacons look to him in the low post, as they have early in the last few games.
What’s on deck: Wake Forest plays its third power-conference opponent of the season next, with a Thanksgiving game against Florida in Orlando as part of the ESPN Events Invitational, and then will play either Minnesota or Wichita State on Friday. Detroit Mercy is also headed to Florida to play some neutral-court games; the Titans play Tulsa in the Jacksonville Classic on Tuesday and Rhode Island on Wednesday.
