Just a few of my personal football thoughts for the day. First off I saw a tweet which alot of you probally did stating that Clawson is the only coach at the moment to have won a d1 championship at 4 different conference's or something like that. At the moment it's totally ridiculous to believe any of these articles ranking coaches or talking about coaches on the hotseat.
Second thought is that we quietly have one of the best defensive coordinators in the country. Elko is really good at coming up with a game plan. Teaching it in practice and having players executing his plan (exception for big plays from players just getting roasted) hopefully he will be around for years to come but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets some attention from bigger schools.
Third thought is that while I'm not expert it a appears that Christian Beal could be the steal of the class. Watched his tape and was just amazed at the big play ability. Have a feeling if Clawson hadn't close the deal early we would be fighting like crazy to land him over Duke Penn State and North Carolina and probally many more. And as you can I'm ready for football peace out everybody have a good day!
