Had a chance to interview over a dozen Wake targets at the Rivals camp at Nation Ford HS just outside of Charlotte on Sunday.
I was able to eliminate a few kids from the offer list but just gauging their interest in Wake, those include WR Muhsin Muhammad, DE Kedrick Bingley-Jones, DE Jacolbe Cowan and LB Trent Simpson. Wake has dropped safety Isaiah Fisher-Smith.
That's the bad news, the good news is several guys who I thought may not be as serious about Wake Forest ended up having them as a top 5 school including TE Kendall Karr, WR Sam Brown, CB Andru Phillips (who wants to visit again, hasn't been up since the facility upgrades were mostly done) and the big one to me was DT Xavier McIver who likes the pipeline into SC that the Deacs have been building.
2022 RB Tate Carney was there, said Cade has been blowing him up about following in his footsteps, said he is really excited to see what the team does this year.
