The redshirt junior wide receiver had a breakout 2020 campaign en route to earning All-America honors from Pro Football Focus.
SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. -- Wake Forest wide receiver Jaquarii Roberson was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List, as announced by the Maxwell Football Club on Monday morning.
The award is presented annually to the best college football player. Roberson is one of 80 players nationwide to land on the watch list, including one of 13 selections from the ACC. The Murfreesboro, N.C. native ranked in the top 10 in Wake Forest's single season records in receiving yards (926) and receiving touchdowns (8). Additionally, he tied a program record by finishing the 2020 campaign with four-straight 100-yard receiving yard games. In the Duke's Mayo Bowl, Roberson reeled in three touchdowns on his first three targets of the game, setting a new Demon Deacon record.
