The Deacs are set to open up the season with a home series versus Northeastern on Feb. 19-21.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. –
Wake Forest baseball and head coach Tom Walter announced the Demon Deacons' 2021 schedule on Thursday. The slate features 36 Atlantic Coast Conference contests broken into three-game weekend sets, as well as numerous midweek matchups against non-conference opponents.

Wake Forest opens the year with five-straight non-conference contests, highlighted by a season-opening home series with Northeastern on Feb. 19-21.

"With 36 of our 50 games being in conference, this is far and away the most competitive schedule we have ever had at Wake Forest," said Walter. "The good news is we have a veteran club who I feel will be ready for the challenge."

Conference play is scheduled to commence with back-to-back home series against Notre Dame (Feb. 26-28) and Boston College (March 5-7) at David F. Couch Ballpark. The team also hosts Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Pittsburgh in ACC action.

After traveling to Miami on March 12-14, the Deacs will find themselves on the road for back-to-back weekends on two separate occasions, beginning on March 26-28 and April 2-4 at Florida State and Louisville, respectively. The next string of consecutive road series will take place at Duke (April 16-18) and Clemson (April 23-25).

Following its lone free weekend of the season (May 7-9), the Demon Deacons will play at Virginia on May 14-16 for its final road series of 2021.

The ACC Baseball Championships will take place on May 25-30, with the location still to be determined.
Wake Forest will comply with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services guidance on fan capacity. The current expansion of gathering sizes under NCDHHS for phase three only applies to outdoor venues that can seat more than 10,000 fans. Wake Forest Athletics will follow the state's guidance to preserve the safety of its student-athletes, coaches, staff and the entire University and Winston-Salem community.

Additional information related to attendance and ticketing opportunities will be communicated closer to the season.
