Busy week for roster movement at Wake Forest. To recap thus far:
Jake LaRavia -- entering NBA draft, will maintain eligibility.
Dallas Walton -- entering NBA draft, will maintain eligibility.
Isaiah Mucius -- entering NBA draft, will maintain eligibility.
Carter Whitt -- entering transfer portal.
You should expect to see a similar announcement from Daivien Williamson as the other two seniors, that he's entering the draft process while maintaining his eligibility.
I've heard a couple of different things on LaRavia. One is that it's a 50-50 shot that he stays in the draft or returns to Wake Forest. The other, more significant item, is that he's been told by one team that they would pick him at 28th if they had the chance. My two cents: I think with as versatile as Jake has been, his stock is going to increase as his tape is broken down and as he goes through workouts and the combine.
I've heard Isaiah is 50-50 to come back, as well. My two cents: I thought Isaiah would be driven to give it one more shot at making the NCAA tournament and was a little surprised by his tone after the Texas A&M loss, which I took as he was leaning toward his time as a college basketball player is nearing an end.
Wake Forest is still *in* Judah Mintz's top 4 and he's going to announce Thursday or Friday. Don't expect it to be Wake Forest, though. DePaul and Syracuse are the leaders (the former has a big lead, too).
