How ugly can it get?
Louisville beat Boston College 17-14, but it was hardly a performance either offense will want to relive. The two teams combined to allow 30 tackles for loss and 15 sacks. They fumbled five times (three lost) and were flagged for eight false starts and two offensive holds.
How bad was it really? Here are the top two games this season in terms of negative offensive plays:
1. Louisville: 20 vs BC on Saturday
2. BC: 18 vs. Louisville on Saturday
Overall, 30 percent of the offensive plays run in the game went for a loss.
